My Approach

I use an integrated approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based techniques and tailoring them to your individual needs. My therapeutic toolkit for couples and families includes:

Gottman Method Couples Therapy: To build stronger connection and navigate conflict more effectively by focusing on the core elements of healthy relationships: friendship, trust, emotional intimacy, and shared meaning. In therapy, we work with practical tools and structured exercises to improve communication, manage conflict without escalating, and increase empathy and understanding between partners. I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples therapy

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): To foster understanding and transform emotional experiences and relationships, building secure attachment and addressing negative interaction patterns. I have completed the Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy Externship through ICEEFT.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): To address your values and how they can drive emotions and behaviors

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To examine thought patterns and behaviors affecting your mental health.

Narrative Therapy: To explore and rewrite personal narratives that may be holding you back.

Why Choose Therapy with Me?

Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and it's essential to find someone who resonates with your values and needs. I approach therapy with a warm, compassionate, and empathetic demeanor. You can trust that I'll provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings and challenges. My approach allows me to adapt to your changing needs and incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote your well-being and improve your relationships. Therapy is not one size fits all and I try to meet the client where they are and adapt treatment based on their goals. My ultimate goal is to empower you. I want to equip you with the tools and skills needed to navigate life's challenges independently.
